The most available positron radionuclide labelled radiopharmaceuticals for clinical diagnosis are the compounds labelled with 18F, 11C, 15O and 13N which have short half-life. This review described the syntheses and clinical use of the short half-life positron radionuclide labelled radiopharmaceuticals, especially 18F and 11C labelled compounds
