Study of mechanical properties recovery processes of irradiated pressure vessel steels at annealing

Description
The main results of investigations on determination of the temperature-time annealing regimes of the WWER-440 reactor vessels (RV) with exhausted radiation operating lives are presented. The recovery degree of the critical temperature of steel brittleness, depending on the temperature and annealing duration as well as on the neutron fluence has been studied. The irradiation embrittlement rates in post-annealing reirradiation and reirradiation annealing eficiency were determined. 4 refs.; 7 figs
