Spontaneous compactification to non-symmetric coset spaces in Einstein-Yang-Mills theory
Description
For the non-symmetric coset spaces G/H = Sp(4)/SU(2) x U(1) and G/H = SU(3)/U(1) x U(1) all G-invariant Riemannian structures are determined. Spontaneous compactification to these spaces is then investigated in the framework of the ten-dimensional Einstein-Yang-Mills theory. (author)
