Description

The article deals with district heating using centrally installed heat pumps. Attention is focused on the comparison of single-pipe and two-pipe systems. Preliminary designs are also presented for a 50 MJ/s district heating station with R12 refrigerant and a 100 MJ/s district heating station with water as the circulating medium. (orig.)
