The electron density variation in Y Ba2 Cu3 O7 crystals on substitution of Y3+ by the Pr 4+ ion

Description
The electron density distribution of the cells of Y3+ Ba2 Cu3 O7 and Pr 4+ Ba2 Cu3 O7 is calculated and mapped. It is shown that the substitution of Y3+ ion by Pr 4+ ion deforms the electron density distribution in the vicinity of the Cu O2 planes. It is supposed, that supercurrent flows in two-dimensional layers of the lowest electron density
