(γ,p) reaction and nucleon correlations inside nucleus
Description
Photons have advantageous character to have chance to see all the nucleons inside nucleus equally. Uncountable numbers of experimental studies on (γ,p) reaction have been made to investigate the intra-nucleus nucleon correlations over three decades. Recent experiments using the tagged photon beam have clarified the existance of photo-absorption mechanism by two nucleon system inside nucleus. A brief review on these works is given. Some qualitative proposals for possible photo-nucleus experiments in future are also roughly depicted. (author)
