Status of standard model predictions and uncertainties for electroweak observables

Description
Recent progress in theoretical predictions of electroweak parameters beyond one loop in the standard model is reviewed. The topics include universal corrections of O(GF2MH2MW2), O(GF2mt4), O(αsGFMW2), and those due to virtual t anti t threshold effects, as well as specific corrections to Γ(Z → b anti b) of O(GF2mt4), O(αsGFmt2), and O(αs2mb2/MZ2). An update of the hadronic contributions to Δα is presented. Theoretical uncertainties, other than those due to the lack of knowledge of MH and mt, are estimated. (orig.)
