Hydrothermal synthesis and characterization of hexagonal and monoclinic neodymium orthophosphate single-crystal nanowires

Description
Hexagonal and monoclinic NdPO4 nanowires about 5-50 nm in diameter and up to several micrometers long were prepared through hydrothermal reaction in 100 deg. C and 220 deg. C, respectively. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS), and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). Furthermore, both the temperature and the pH value influence on the products were investigated
