Anisotropic stabilization of internal tilting FRC

  • 1. Universidade Estadual de Campinas, SP (Brazil). Inst. de Fisica

Description

Preliminary study on internal tilting stability of an anisotropic model for field-reversed configuration (FRC) is presented. Using a trial function approach together in with the corresponding anisotropic Energy Principle a stabilizing influence of anisotropy is shown. (author)
