Hyperfine critical exponents and bulk critical exponents: the system HfNi
Description
A nickel matrix was used with 181Ta as probe for D.P.A.C. (differential perturbed angular correlation) measurements. Results are given for samples containing 0-40 ppm of Hf. The value of the hyperfine critical exponent β approximately equal to 0.41 confirms the peculiar behavior of the HfNi system where β differs from its measured value for pure nickel by bulk measurements
