Effect of the nucleon composition of the target nucleus and fragment on the cross section for fragmentation
Description
It is shown that the effect of a neutron excess of the fragment and target nucleus on the probability of fragmentation is not limited to the effect on the separation energies of the fragments. An additional factor is found which determines the role of the neutron excesses of the fragment and target nucleus
