Description
The difficulties involved in the production and rapid chemical isolation of a few single atoms of transactinides (TAN) from numerous other reaction products and the subsequent detection of the nuclear decay require the development of unique separation methods. Due to very low production rates and short half-lives, TAN nuclei must be chemically processed 'one-atom-at-a-time' on a very short time scale. Here in I propose liquid phase chemistry for the separation of TAN elements
