Description

Excitation functions for nat La( p,x)139,137m,137g,135,134,133mCe reactions from reaction threshold upto 65 MeV were evaluated using TALYS-1.9 nuclear code. The evaluated excitation functions were compared with experimental data from the EXFOR database and the predictive power of these codes were estimated in terms of the deviation coefficients. Thick Target yields for relevant radioisotopes were calculated using the evaluated excitation functions. Further the best production route for maximal yield of medically relevant radioisotopes of Cerium is discussed
