Description

It is proposed to use the polarizing (K-, π-) reaction to yield 13C polarized perpendicular to the scattering plane. Precession of 13C in a 100-kG superconducting solenoid will be determined by a scintillator array that detects the weak decay π-. From this the magnetic moment of 13C will be determined
