The observation of solar flare protons with energies larger than 30 MeV in the vicinity of the earth on board of the station MIR on October 30, 1991

Description
During the experiment with the magnetic spectrometer MARIA-2 on board the station MIR, in October 30-31, 1991 after a solar flare of class 3B the high energy proton flux and the energy spectrum of solar origin was measured. In the energy range 30-100 MeV it has a power law shape with the spectral index of about 3. Near 300 MeV the spectrum cuts off sharply. A comparison of the experimental spectrum with the results of the satellite GOES-7 and with the data of the experiment LYULIN on board the orbital station MIR was performed. There is good agreement between the MARIA-2 data and the GOES-7 data. (author)
