Description
After an overview of his curriculum, of his teaching activities, of his publications and participations to conferences and colloquiums, and of other activities, the author presents his research work in the developments and applications of luminescence-based methods to Quaternary geochronology. More precisely, he first presents thermoluminescence as a dating method based on the dosimetry of natural radiations, reports a study of settlement dynamics in the Near-East at the middle and late Pleistocene, and finally discusses prospective in Quaternary geochronology in terms of methodological developments and new applications of luminescence-based methods
