Evaluation of irradiation test of dry process fuel using ORIGEN-ARP
Description
The ORIGEN-ARP, which is being supported by the ORNL, is an updated version of ORIGEN-2 which is not supported now by the ONRL. The ORIGEN-ARP is widely used for depletion calculation supporting isotopic mass change, decay heat, radiation and gamma and neutron spectrum. In this study, the ORIGEN-2 and the ORIGEN-ARP are compared and analyzed with the results of the 5th HANARO irradiation test of the DUPIC fuel. In addition, it is described how to make a reactor dependent library file for the ORIGEN-ARP using SAS2 code system. It is expected that this report will be useful to evaluate isotopic decay characteristics for various types fuels using the ORIGEN-ARP code system
