Determination of model-free characteristics of α-particle inelastic scattering on sup(12)C at Esub(α)=30 MeV

Description
Results of experimental investigation of angular correlation function of α-particles inelastically scattered by 12C nuclei with gamma quanta corresponding to 2+ → 0+ transition from the first excited state of 12C nucleus (4.43 MeV) at Esub(α)=30 MeV are presented. Qualitative analysis of the results obtained was performed. The analysis of experimental data indicates that single-stage processes are a main mechanism of inelastic α-particle scattering with 12C nucleus at Esub(α)=30 MeV. Contribution of multistage processes is insignificant and is marked only in some angle ranges
