Synchronous operation adopting distributed feed-forward control at medical accelerator system
Description
A control system for a medical particle accelerator must be designed to take care of the distribution system for the system composed by a variety of devices. On the other hand, the control system is a necessitated operation relational to each component in order to require operating devices all together or independently. In case of particles heavier than the typical proton rays which accelerate high energy levels in synchrotron, control is carried out by the pattern control technique based on feed-forward. The pattern control is fed previously in additional to characteristics of the device. The pattern of every device, which is loaded by using a control, is stored in the memory. This paper reports a consideration of pattern management and an operation for the medical accelerator control. (author)
