Description

The method of synthesis of coordination metal compounds containing deprotonated residues of imidothiol tautomeric form of thiosemicarbazide is developed. It is shown that complexes of this type can be produced in two ways: 1) in reactions between thiosemicarbazide and metal salts in weakly alkaline medium; 2) during alkalization of aqueous solutions containing complexes with neutral thiosemicarbazide molecules. On the basis of the developed method of synthesis complexes of cobalt Co(L-H)3, nickel Ni(L-H)2, as well as earlier unknown zinc and cadmium compounds of the composition Zn(L-H)OHxH2O and Cd(L-H)2, where L is a thiosemicarbazide molecule are prepared. The properties of all synthesized complexes (molecular structure, thermolysis) are characterized
