Optimisation of inner-notch-corrected highly homogeneous superconducting solenoids and their comparison with other coil configurations

Description
Inner-notch-corrected superconducting solenoids with constant current density and with radially subdivided sections having graduated current density have been optimised using sixth-order compensation. These coils are compared with other types of compensated coil in the effectiveness of the superconducting conductor volume and the higher-order error coefficients. (author)
