Metal complexes of 4-benzoyloxime-3-methyl-1-phenyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one

Description
Complexes of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Fe(II), Mn(II), Zn(II), UO22+, VO2+ and Cr(III) with 4-benzoyloxime-3-methyl-1-phenyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one have been prepared and characterized on the basis of conductivity, infrared and electronic spectral measurements in conjunction with magnetic susceptibility measurements. Various ligand-field parameters have been evaluated for Co(II) and Cr(III). All the complexes except VO2+ complex are found to have octahedral structure. The VO2+ complex is found to have square-pyramidal structure. (author)
