Description
The paper describes the use and structure of the VVER-1000 analytical simulator (AS) based on a full scope simulator (FSS) model. The analytical simulator is intended to be used primarily as a training device to provide initial and continuing education for nuclear power plant operators. The use of an analytical simulator for training purposes will allow for a more efficient utilization of the FSS and help to resolve problems associated with the lack of training capabilities in Soviet nuclear power plants
