Magnetic transport measurements of epitaxial SmCo5 in pulsed magnetic fields

Description
SmCo5 is a hard ferromagnetic material with a high Curie temperature around 800 C and a high coercivity of 3 T. With the help of a Quantum Design PPMS vibrating sample magnetometer magnetic properties were already measured. Hence an anisotropy field of 28 T was calculated. The epitaxial SmCo5 thin films were prepared by pulsed laser deposition on Cr buffered MgO(110). Hall measurements of SmCo5 thin films are presented.
