Radioactive hydrogeologic features and uranium prospecting direction in western Changchengbao massif
Description
Radioactive hydrogeologic and hydrochemical anomaly features and characteristics of uranium mineralization are introduced. The mutual relationship among the above three factors is discussed in detail. It is proposed that uranium mineralization in this area are controlled by hydrochemical anomaly areas and hydrogeochemical vertical zonation in this area. Uranium is mainly concentrated in the transitional zone of oxidation-reduction. Because the uranium in the working area is easily leachable, it is suggested that uranium deposits to be explored would be suitable for solution leaching and in-situ leach mining. (authors)
