Kinetics of nuclear reactions and structure of detonation waves at supernovae explosions
Description
The structure of steady detonation wave in carbon C12 of degenerate CO-cores and white dwarfs WD is investigated in the density range of 105-108 g/cm-3. Nuclear reaction kinetic equations for 84 nuclides and about 600 nuclear reactions is used. At densities rho0 < rho*0 approximately equal to 107 g/cm-3 the Chapman-Jouguett regime is found. For rho0 > rho*0 there exists apparently the regime of under-pressed detonation with partially nonmonotonic energy release. For rho < or approximately 107 g/cm-3 the full width of the detonation wave became greater than the size of CO-core or WD, L approximately 108 cm, and the detonation can not be considered as steady under this conditions. This means also that Chapman-Jouguett detonation during thermonuclear explosion of CO-core or WD can not be formed at all. At densities rho0 > or approximately 107 g/cm-3 the formation of steady underpressed and, of course overpreassed detonation waves is possible in this case
