Description
A dry method of irradiated reactor and cyclotron iron targets purification from 54Mn is suggested. The method is based on thermal annealing of irradiated metal accompanied by evaporation of 57Mn impurity atoms into gaseous phase. It is shown that the impurity transfer rate depends on degree of irradiation-induced damage of the metal, whereas degree of the targets purification from 54Mn impurity - on chemical purity (manganese content) of irradiated preparations
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
