Development of the new monitor for 85Kr in air

Description
This paper introduces development of the new 85Kr monitor in the air. The instrument can compensate the gamma by placed symmetrically ionization chamber detectors. The measurement process of the 85Kr monitor can be controlled automatically by a micro processor. Through the performance test, the equipment has small relative error, a good effect on gamma background compensation. It is especially applicable to monitoring 85Kr in off-gas effluents from nuclear facility. (authors)
