Computed tomography in degenerative spondylolistesis

Preoperative computed tomography was performed on 17 spines in 16 cases. The following measurements were obtained; the degree of degenerative change of articular joint, angle of articular joint, survey of spinal canal and rotation of vertebral body. And then the relation between those values and clinical symptoms were studied. We found that clinical symptoms got poor as the degree of vertebral body rotation increased. Scoliosis was found in degenerative spondylolistesis with vertebral body rotation. (author)
