Description
We have analyzed the hadronization process in e+e− annihilation. We use Monte Carlo data simulated by PYTHIA program. We have compared our results with AMY real data. Similar analysis techniques have been employed in the two different interactions. We have observed that average values of <1−T>, and relative to the thrust axis in AMY data are in good agreement with the corresponding values for simulated results. We conclude that <1 − T> do indeed become smaller by increasing the center of mass energy. and values increase with energy, Thus Jet direction is better defined. The thrust distribution for AMY data and for simulated results is in relatively good agreement at high T. However AMY data show more enhancements at lower T values. This is probably due to the fact that there is a possibility of a high quark mass production or a hard gluon emission for the case of e+e− AMY annihilations. This effect may also be due to the way the jet energy is defined. We explain all these features in this manuscript. (author)
