Specific features of metals recrystallization after pulsed loading

Description
Recrystallization structures, observed during annealing of molybdenum, iron and titanium pulsed-hardened samples are studied. Recrystallization structure happened to be imperfect; new grains have strain traces. Increased defectness of recrystallization grains are caused by macrostress relaxation, proceeding parallel to recrystallization. Strain structure of metals after pulsed loading is highly nonuniform and is similar to composite materials, the level of macrostresses in it is, respectively, very high. Macrostress relaxation disturbs recrystallization grains in the surface layer of deformed samples at preloading rate of 102 and in all sample volume - at 103 s-1
