Momentum distribution of protons in 4He and the mechanism of the (γ, p) reaction

Description
We present estimates of the momentum distribution of protons G(q) in the 4He nucleus in the momentum range 220<q<600 MeV/c obtained from analysis of experimental data on differential cross sections of the (γ, p) reaction at γ-ray energies E/sub γ/ = 50--140 MeV in the approximation of the single-particle mechanism of γ-ray absorption and with inclusion of the interaction of the proton with the residual nucleus in the framework of an energy-dependent complex optical potential
