Ultimate disposal of radioactive waste
Creators
Description
Nuclear waste management and ultimate disposal of radioactive waste do not directly affect the global atmosphere but involve problems relating to a possible release of radioactivity to the environment. The chapter discusses quantitative and qualitative aspects of ultimate waste disposal strategies in the context of general safety assessments and safety analyses for specific disposal sites, which in the FRG are salt rock formations or the Konrad iron ore mine. Abstract (German)
