Thermal studies of structural phase transitions

Description
A brief review of investigation results on thermodynamic characteristics of phase transitions in crystals with octahedral and tetrahedral ionic groups is presented. Analysis of entropy changes, accompanying phase transitions, effects of hydrostatic pressure, behaviour of heat capacity and thermal expansion coefficients in distorted phases of alkali metal and ammonium molybdates, tungstates and fluoroberyllates, as well as double halides of rare earths and cadmium, is conducted
