Patent
Decontamination method and device for radioactive waste
- 1. Chubu Electric Power Co. Inc., Nagoya (Japan)
Description
It is confirmed that a radiation level of a grinding material is not increased over a predetermined level even if it is used repeatedly, and the blasted grinding material is recovered and classified, to utilize it cyclically until it can not more be used. Therefore, the generation amount of secondary wastes is minimized and in addition, radioactive wastes can be decontaminated to a sufficiently low level surface contamination density. (T.M.)
