Effect of ultraviolet radiation on temperature dependence of photoluminescence and photoacoustic response of porous silicon

  • 1. Inst. Fiziki NAN Ukrainy, Kiev (Ukraine)

Description

The effect of ultraviolet radiation on the type of dependence of integral intensity of the Ilum(T) the porous silicon samples on temperature is studied. It is established that the Ilum(T) maximum for the samples with nonmonotonous character of temperature attenuation by increase in the excitation density shifts to the direction of higher temperatures. The UV-irradiation of such samples changes the type of the Ilum(T) from nonmonotonous to monotonous diminishing one. In the samples with initially monotonous diminishing character of the Ilum(T) dependence the UV-irradiation leads to the change in the radiation spectrum structure and to the increase in the tempo of temperature quenching of the red-orange band. The energy states diagram is proposed with an account whereof the Ilum(T) behaviour is explained
