The radioactive properties of ceramic materials produced on the basis of power plant waste materials

Description
The problem of radioactivity of building materials produced on the basis of fly-ashes, the reduction of lignite and bituminous coal is examined. The main problems concerning radiation and present test methods are described. The concentration of radionuclides in the fly-ashes of bituminous coal, silts, bituminous and carbon shales and in the ceramic materials produced on their basis is measured. (author)
