Synthesis of anode-plasma systems of electron flux formation

Description
Solved are the internal and external problems of flat one-dimensional electron flux formation in a system with a thermocathode and anode plasma using the synthesis method in combination with numerical-analytical calculation of a space charge distribution function. Elementary processes of production and interaction of charged particles with a neutral gas filling the interelectrode gap are taken into account. Their effect on the degree of space charge compensation and the change of conditions for electron flux formation by external fields are shown. The solutions obtained can be used while calculating electron guns operating in imperfect vacuum, as well as for synthesis and optimization of high-perveance electron-optical systems with compression
