On the exactness of reduction of distribution functions of hyperfine interactions according to the results of Moessbauer investigations

  • 1. Ural Polytechnical Inst., Sverdlovsk (USSR)

Description

The factors that affect the exactness of solving ill-posed problems when the distribution functions of hyperfine-interaction parameters are recovered from the Moessbauer spectroscopy data are considered. The error in the determination of the first two moments (the mean and the variance) of the effective magnetic field distribution is evaluated numerically. The variation range of the spread function parameters, over which the mean and the variance of the P(H) distribution sought suffer no distortion, is determined. (orig.)
