Studies on hemorhelological effects of radiation and the regularity of blood viscosity change in animals after irradiation

  • 1. Shanghai Medical Univ. (China). Shanghai Inst. of Radiation Medicine

Description

The investigatigation results showed that the main characteristics of hemorheology effects were two-way change in blood viscosity, which increased first and then decreased after whole body irradiation for once with large dose. With the development of radiation damage, there was a viscosity in early period with an average value which was 47.8% higher than that before irradiation. But it varied with differences in sources of animals, radiation doses, shear stress rate, and souyce of blood
