This is a compilation of the bilateral agreements concluded by Australia concerning co-operation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. The publication also includes the agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the application of safeguards in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and the agreement with EURATOM on transfers of nuclear materials from Australia to the European Atomic Energy Community. The other agreements were concluded with the following countries: Canada, Egypt, Finland, France, Japan, Republic of Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, USSR, United Kingdom and United States. They concern transfers of nuclear materials and equipment, research and development, exchange of information, etc. All contain provisions on safeguards, physical protection and restrictions on exports to third countries

Cette publication contient les textes des Accords bilateraux conclus par l'Australie relatifs a la cooperation dans le domaine des utilisations pacifiques de l'energie nucleaire. Elle contient egalement le texte de l'Accord conclu avec l'Agence Internationale de l'Energie Atomique (AIEA) sur l'application des garanties en vertu du Traite sur la non-proliferation des armes nucleaires (TNP), ainsi que celui conclu avec EURATOM relatif aux transferts de matieres nucleaires de l'Australie a la Communaute Europeenne de l'Energie Atomique.
