Chemically vapor-deposited tungsten, grain-refined and stabilized

Description

Efforts to produce chemically vapor-deposited tungsten, having a fine, thermally-stable microstructure, are reviewed. An experimental approach, which involved the reactant thorium acetylacetonate, in addition to hydrogen and WF6, was used to prepare tungsten having such a microstructure. (Auth.)
