Germylmercurates of divalent samarium, europium and ytterbium
- 1. Gor'kovskij Pedagogicheskij Inst. (USSR)
Description
By interaction of samarium, europium and ytterbium with bis(tris(pentafluorophenyl)germyl) mercury, polynuclear complexes of bivalent lanthanides with the yield of 65-85% have been prepared. The compounds prepared melt with the decomposition in the temperature range from 205 to 215 deg, they are highly soluble in dimethoxyethane, tetrahydrofuran and decompose under the effect of HCl. IR spectra are similar to the spectra of the known germyl-mercury complexes of trivalent lanthanides
