Experimental study of the flow resistance of Porous structures in the adiabatic motion of steam-water mixtures

  • 1. Institute of High Temperature, Academy of Sciences of the USSR

Description

The procedure and results of an experimental study of the flow resistance of porous structures are described in connection with the adiabatic motion of steam-water mixtures at a pressure of 0.2--0.6 MPa with filtration mass flow rates of 10--45 kg/m2xsec and mass transport vapor contents of 0--1. A generalizing relation is given for the calculation of hydraulic losses
