Characterization of flash lamp pulses in Nd:YAG lasers

Description

In this work, a numerical solution of the differential equations of the flash lamp discharge current has been found. A computer program using C++ builder is written to show the time dependent variation of the pulse discharge current as a chart curve. The program can calculate the different pulse parameters as the pulse energy, the pulse width, and the peak current. The user can also optimize the values of the capacitor and the inductance.
