Determination of relative conversion line intensities of the E-3 transitions of the 109Ag with the sources of different chemical compositions

Description
Investigated was internal conversion of external shells for 109Ag 88.032 keV E-3 transition with 109Cd, 109CdTe and 109CdSe sources. Measured gamma line intensities ratios L1:L2:L3 are in good agreement between themselves and theoretical values. Ratio of the sum of intensities of external shell conversion electrons, N and O to intensity of M shell, which was measured with a metal cadmium source, well agrees with the theoretical one, while ratio measured with 109CdTe and 109CdSe sources is over the theoretical ratio
