Penetration of high-energy charm particles through matter

Description
Kinetics of damping of nuclear-electromagnetic showers is calculated with account for charmed hadrons present in the showers. The presence of charm in the superhigh-energy showers results in a change of the general picture of damping of the nuclear-electromagnetic cascade. Magnitude of the effect is proportional to production cross section for the charged particles
