Description
Two shutdown systems are set up in HTR-10 Reactor (High Temperature Gas cool Reactor)--control rod system and neutron-absorber ball shutdown system. In the paper the two systems are introduced, the former is based on driving of chain wheel and the latter shutdown the reactor depending on the B4C balls (φ5 mm), which can fall into the tubes setup in reactor core reflectors. Main parts of the two systems and their design are introduced. The safety analysis of systems are given
