Case report 519: Histiocytoid hemangioendothelioma of right 10th rib

Description
A case is presented of a 19-year-old woman who appeared with a lesion in the right 10th rib. Plain film, CT and MR studies were performed and utilizing special staining techniques a diagnosis of histiocytoid hemangioendothelioma was made on the resected specimen. The literature on the subject of histiocytoid hemangioendothelioma was reviewed and the comparison with hemangioendothelial sarcoma made. (orig./GDG)
