Physical-chemical properties of solid solutions of La1-xGdxCoO3 cobaltites

Description
Solid solutions of La1-xGdxCoO3 (x = 0; 0.1; 0.25; 0.5; 0.75; 0.9; 1.0) have been synthesized. Crystal lattice parameters have been calculated on a base of X-ray data. Measurements of electrical conductivity and thermal expansion of the obtained samples have been carried out at temperature range of 300-1100 K in air. Anomalies of electrical conductivity and thermal expansion at semiconductor-metal phase transition are observed for all cobaltites, as well as values of average linear coefficient of thermal expansion changes.
